Nationwide Strikes Threatened by Transporters for May 30

As reported by The Post Edition of Friday April 25th, syndicates of the transportation sector are again in agitation for another nationwide strike slated for May 30th and to last indefinitely or till their demands are met. It will be recalled that in February 2008, transporters went on a nationwide strike to protest against the increase of fuel prices which they argued was unbearable and the strike was seized by angry youths to express their frustration and increase in prices of basic commodities.
